To bring the culture fully to life, several of our traditional dances are accompanied by the resonant, live sounds of the Bulgarian Gaida (bagpipe), offering an immersive experience you won’t find anywhere else in Ireland.

For the new season (starting September 2026), we are seeking new adult members who already possess a feel for rhythm, music, or dance and are ready to commit some time to mastering at least a few patterns and horo. Each dance is explained in details and patterns are broken down where necessary. If you want to step away from the daily routine, challenge your mind and body, and immerse yourself in an authentic Balkan cultural tradition right here in Dublin, this is the perfect group for you.
